Scoring Configuration

The Scoring Engine supports multiple evaluation methodologies. Configure every aspect of how scores are calculated:

Weighted Criteria

Assign percentage weights to each scoring dimension (e.g., Appearance 30%, Talent 25%, Interview 20%, Walk 25%)

Judge Normalization

Automatically normalize scores across judges to eliminate harsh vs. lenient grading bias

Blind Scoring

Judges see only contestant numbers — no names, photos, or agency affiliations during scoring

Auto-Ranking

Real-time leaderboard calculated from weighted, normalized scores with tie-breaker rules

Score Integrity

Every score submission is treated as a financial-grade transaction with full tamper protection:

Append-Only — Scores are written to an append-only log. No score can be modified or deleted after submission

Hash & Sign — Each score entry is cryptographically hashed and signed with the judge's session key

Timestamped — All submissions carry server-side timestamps (not client-side) to prevent backdating

Manual Override Logging — If an admin overrides a score, the original score, override reason, and admin identity are permanently logged

Audit Trail

Every score can be traced back to: which judge, what time, from which device, with what criteria weights. This ensures complete transparency for contestants, sponsors, and regulators.
