Availability Calendar

Manage talent availability, prevent double-bookings, and sync with external calendars for seamless scheduling.

Calendar Overview

The Availability Calendar is a per-talent scheduling system that tracks three types of time blocks:

Status	Color	Meaning
Available	Green	Talent is free and can accept bookings
Tentative / Hold	Yellow	Penciled in — awaiting confirmation from client or agency
Booked	Red	Confirmed booking — cannot accept other jobs during this time
Blocked	Gray	Personal time off, travel, or other unavailability

Conflict Prevention

TalentOS automatically prevents scheduling conflicts:

Double-Booking Guard — If a talent is already booked, the system blocks any overlapping booking attempts and notifies the requestor

Hold Expiry — Tentative holds auto-expire after 48 hours (configurable per tenant) if not confirmed

Travel Buffer — Optional travel buffer between bookings (e.g., 2-hour gap for inter-city travel)

Important

Calendar sync is two-way — changes in TalentOS update the external calendar, and vice versa. Make sure talent permissions are set correctly to avoid unauthorized schedule changes.
