Your TalentOS profile score is not a vanity number. It is the primary factor in whether you appear in casting searches, get shortlisted, and receive AI-matched opportunities. Here is exactly how it is calculated and how to maximise it.
What the score measures (0-100 composite)
The profile score is a weighted composite across five dimensions: profile completeness (30%), media quality (25%), skills verification (20%), social profile linking (15%), and booking history (10%). Each dimension has its own sub-score. A talent can have an overall score of 75 but a media quality sub-score of only 45 — that gap reveals exactly where to focus.
Profile completeness — the fastest 30 points
Completeness is the most immediately actionable dimension. Missing fields are flagged with their exact score impact. Common gaps: measurements not entered (-8 points), bio under 100 characters (-5 points), availability not set (-4 points), no social profiles linked (-6 points). Adding these in one session can move you from 55 to 75 immediately.
Media quality — where most talent plateau
Media quality is scored by AI on every uploaded photo and video. Each item is assessed for framing, lighting, sharpness, background, and face visibility. The average of your top 5 media items determines your media quality score. One excellent headshot does not compensate for four low-quality shots — you need consistent quality across your portfolio.
Real example: from 61 to 88 in 3 days
A real TalentOS talent (anonymised) started at a profile score of 61. Day 1: Added verified measurements (+6), linked Instagram and YouTube (+8), set availability calendar (+4) — moved to 79. Day 2: Uploaded a professional headshot and full-body shot, removing two low-quality phone photos — media quality improved from 52 to 71, moving overall score to 84. Day 3: Completed AI Studio bio, got two booking credits verified by her agency — moved to 88. Total time invested: approximately 4 hours.
The gap analysis output
Every time you run a profile scan in AI Studio, you receive a gap analysis: a ranked list of missing items with their exact score impact. The list is sorted by score impact — highest-impact fixes first. This is your to-do list. Work through it in order and your score improves predictably.
What 100 requires
A perfect score of 100 requires: full profile completion, at least 8 high-quality media items (scoring above 80 each), all measurements verified, minimum 5 verified booking credits, all social profiles linked and verified, and at least 3 months of consistent platform activity. It is achievable — approximately 4% of active talent on the platform have scores above 90.
Run your profile scan now. Look at your gap analysis. Do the top three items on the list today. Your score will improve before the day is over.
